Doctor oh Doctor

I got three things which is related to DOCTOR to tell about today ...

1) I miss 3 episodes of HOUSE MD (latest season) including last nite epi...hope got somebody who can d'load full epi-latest season for me pleaseeee...

2) Heard news about doctors who read papers whilst many patients were waiting to be examined 2 days ago. And yesterday on my way to office, heard so many comments and experience from HOT.fm callers regarding this particular issues. One of the caller , (who claimed he's) a doctor having said that such issue raised by the Deputy Minister is just "small matter" and nothing to be HEBOH. Having said that, he claimed that most of the doctors don't have time even to go to the toilet since hundreds of patients are awaiting for them to be taken care of in a day. Entahla...to my experience, I always having BAD experience everytime I went to government hospital. And even worst, when I once had have REALLY BAD experience with one of private hospital in KK...apalagi - mimang si kaki komplen, I made an official complaints thru email and faxed it, surprisingly the GM himself called me to seek for an apology. It's my pleasure la the GM called but I swear to God, that I won't consult or visit THAT clinic EVER! Service DOES matter no wonder how expert the doctors are...

3) Just got my full medical check-up for today. Alhamdulillah the doctor said that i am in an excellent health. Maybe i just being so tense till got migraine / headache. And 1 more thing, I haven't got my Hep A & B immunisation. Mimang since last 2-3 years I want to have them.But always procrastinate till forget to do it. Bisukla...MUST GO.

Still Mmmmm...

Aiya...very tensen with this kind of mood and feeling oh...I HATE this kind of feeling.

Betapa tidak produktif nya aku rasa. I think i need something or somebody to trigger or motivate me...or maybe I really has to have a break...to pamper myself. Macamana ni...lembap semacam dan mau keluarkan idea to blogging pun susa. Hopefully I can fully recover and re-charge myself this weekend. Tata from now...

My 3M Syndrome

This week I got my 3M Syndrome ...

Maybe I am too exhausted and a bit tense with my work. Last week, no weekend for me, non-stop working for the whole week and early this week I really lost temper. So dissapointed when I discovered there's so many tasks unsettled in the office...and so many things came up that make me blast and burst... n I became MOODY. It was my bad MONDAY this week and hope won't get another same MONDAY in coming week.

Also, the most "unpreventive disease" (I would say) strikes at the same time - MIGRANE - which I suffers since Monday (Saturday actually) 'till now. And this morning I went for a full medical check-up since the headache so hard to evade. Luckily my BP is normal (110/70). But still waiting for the Cholesterol level result etc... Assuming it's just because of my "bad-hair week" (ada ka such phrase? Antamla kan)...

Additionally and very-very-very unavoidable syndrome for this week is MALAS. Both M syndrome above affecting my mood swing to MALAS...the most agonizing, unbearable feeling that make another unfruitful day@week for me. Chao...

Office Transformation la Pulak...

Rasa2nya semua mau di transformasi kan ni...dari diri sampaila ke persekitaran kerja dan rumah juga. Kata orang minda yang tenang datang dari persekitaran yang baik dan selesa. So, proses mentransformasikan persekitaran kerja ini lah yang memerlukan keiltizaman dan memerlukan istiqamah juga...(S yang ke-5 iaitu sentiasa amal).

Kata orang untuk memulakan sesuatu ke arah perubahan memang payah dan byk alasan. tapi kalau kita sentiasa beralasan kita tidk akan menjadi orang yang berjaya. So, aku telah mengorbankan 1 hari dari waktu weekend ku untuk menyisih, menyapu, melabel dan memparking kan ruang pejabat ku. Dan rasanya hari ku tidak sia-sia dan inilah hasilnya (baru 60%)...

Ini pulak sengaja nda di photo-scape kan sebab mau hi-light meja yang kemas dan bersih dan licin itu setelah proses transformasi dilakukan. Tapi di belakang meja dan bawah meja pun sengaja nda di hi-lite sebab blm 100% dibuat...nnt i update lagi k.

Towards Self-Transformation

Last Wed (8th Apr) a group of UMS PP with strong support from Datin Ann has had such a good time together in commencing and organising the 1st Toastmaster Meeting (among the UMS staff) led by Toastmaster Luqman as the President of Shadow Committee of UMS Toastmaster Club. Before, toastmaster is not more than a public speaking that can bring "total disaster" when asked to speak before no. of people. Anyhow, thanks to Datin Ann whom has encouraged and invited us to attend the KK Toastmasters Club on Feb. I had attended the most precious night, where I can see everybody (even the guests and observers) can share everything that night. And I know Toastmaster is not a Public Speaking all about but it can instil the sense of mutual respects, understanding, time-managment, info-sharing, leadership and many 1001 others thru various roleplayers and activities in less than 3 hours meetings. In other words, the self-transformation might occur.

Entry ni patut dibuat pada Mac lepas. But asyik tertangguh ja...jadi terus terlupa...

Biasala di KK ni tempat adalah terhad untuk membawa anak2 berjalan2...paling2 di Shopping Mall ja la. Jadi weekend ntah berapa kurun yang lalu aku dan hubby spend our Q-time together with anak2 jalan-jalan sambil window shopping di City Mall...di situ tiada apa juga cuma di tgkt atas tu ada la children's corner tempat game dan paling best ada tmpt khas utk kanak2 ber-bouncing...the most favorite act for naufal dan nadhrah.

Tingu bawah ni...she likes to bounce sampai tilam di rumah pun malam2 djadikan mangsanya...

Naufal likes to bounce as well no matter how "gendut" he is to bounce...but very sweaty la my little gemuk ni...

Actually My Birthday's long way to come...Oct 29th (ingat ya Agee hehehe). Actually suda tua2 ni macam nda lagi excited mau terima apa2 hadiah. Cuma yang penting orang wish aku ja... tapi suda kena tag ni ... list ja la...dapat nda dapat belakang kira kan...pun mcm Agee aku kasi wishlist yang realistic la pasal kena berpijak di bumi yang nyata. Kiranya ni bukan setakat wishlist utk birthday la...wishlist in life...

D.I.Y. - Part III (Final)

Final Day at Jogja - so fast n nda rasa langsung suda 6 days in Jogja. Tambah satu memori dan pengalaman that mostly remembered... Ini la Malioboro Inn Hotel. 3 * hotels tapi memang memuaskan. Lagipun dekat dgn Jalan Malioboro (depan ja) dan senang utk shopping brg2. Cuma frust sb c agee nda smpt bawa tingu tempat yang aku mau tingu brg2an jualannya... Tapi it's ok. Dan gambar butter spread and strawberry jam tu adalah bfast kegemaran kami spjg di Malioboro Inn. Butter n jam dia mmg sedap. Sampai ada one day tiada dorg serve tu bread ... tapun2 kami mau makan. Siap diganti pada hari berikutnya :) paling best sini wi-fi 24 hours and free. Tu la jangan pandang rendah Indon...hotel 3 star pun wi fi nda kedekut. Nda macam di KL...rata2 hotel charge for internet service. Heran kan....
Ini gambar2 yng sempat dirakam for our last day in Jogja. Pic left-middle tu Tugu Jogja - Mas Aris pun nda tau apa nama tugu tu...dia bilang tugu tu dibina khas untuk memudahkan "Ponti" kenalpasti jalan ke Istana ka...sebab knun nya dulu jalan tu lurus dan panjang la sebelum ada bangunan2 tu. Agee...betul ka apa aku tulis ni? Ingat2 lupa suda aku :)

Ini gambar sekitar di airport. Sempat lagi tingu dokumentari cicak kena panggang jadi makanan budak2...hmmm aku nda sanggup mau tingu. Tapi bila kapal kami sampai ja semua orang tepuk tangan sebab suda lma tunggu...dan paling saspen...takut x dpt catch flight KL-KK. Alhamdulillah sempat juga akhirnya dn kmi semua selamat menjejaki bumi Sabah pada tengahmalam 25 Mac yang lalu.

Seminar Pascasiswazah UGM-UMS

This is the moment of truth. Alhamdulillah International Postgraduate Seminar had been achieved its' objective and surprisingly dapat sambutan yang amat menggalakkan. My heartiest thanks to UGM Graduate School esp. goes to Pak Supri (Kepala Kantor), Mbak Ana, Pak Nug, Pak Marem, Ibu Wit and all UGM staff. Thanks a lot for your kindness and full commitment is undescribable...thanks again.

TIred but happy face after the seminar ended. Very "lega" and we drop by one of the Resto (also can't remember already the name :) Most importantly, the man in red-shirt is our supir - Mas Aris. He taught us few of Javanese word like - Oja Lali Lho... :)

"Malam keakraban" - night after the seminar. Everybody has the great time - singing and dancing (poco2 and dangdut) and happy hour :) Best part is "Hitam Manis" and Ben - you have such a wonderful voice and poco2.... Bravo all.

D.I.Y - Part II

Lama juga kan mau sambung D.I.Y Part II ni... Ini kesinambungan gambar2 tour di Jogjakarta hari tu. Banyak juga sampai susa mau pilih yang mana. Mungkin ada juga yang ter-upload gambar2 dalam blog Agee...

Ini keterangan kedudukan Candi Prambanan. Yang di ingat ialah Candi Brahma, Wahana kalu nda silap dan satu lagi mcm bunyi siswa...nanti la baca keterangan dia tu ya hehehe

Masa di Prambanan ni kami bertiga (urusetia yang sepatutnya urus dan setia dgn delegasi lain) tidak naik ke atas...sangat panas dan tinggi mau naik. Jadi nda heran la aku merupakan satu2nya wanita paling montel dan bulat dalam mana2 grup photo kan ...

Pics above - gambar2 di Kraton...Istana yang dikatakan masih digunakan untuk acara2 ke-kraton-an. Kraton ni knun dalam bahasa melayu nya kerabat la gitu. Time kami sampai tu kebetulan ada show yg mcm di TV tu...music jawa yang ada gaduh2...nd dpt info pasal tiada tmpt mau tanya...

Nah..."Kraton in Action"...dari sini la aku dapat gelaran "Kraton" oleh si Cik Pah, Agee dan Juma. Tapi gambar paling best tu yang aku duduk di pangkuan "Bapak Jawa" tu...tingu muk patung tu ada beza nda? Macam keberatan memangku gadis paling montel tu...LOL

Pics atas ni plak ... puteri2 dugong dan mama dugong yang kiranya mau terjun mandi di Taman Sari tapi nda jadi pasal airnya suda hijau...jadi paksa gaya2 dugong ja diaksikan... Kami pigi sekejap ja dalam tu pasal tiada apa yang mau ditingu. Tapi student lain tu ya ampun...ntah apa la yang lama sangat dalm tu sampai aku paksa temankan si Prof. a.k. Daddy bercerita di bawah pokok di tgh keterikan matahari sementara tunggu delegates lain...kesian dia kelaparan sampai kami kasi bun di abis-in terus... :)

Kalau sebelum ni aku hanya melihat di gambar or TV ja Candi Borobudur yang diperkatakan kali ni I've been there...macam mimpi rasanya. Tapi rasanya cukup la sekali aku ke sini. Bukan apa, kami turun ja dari van terus diserbu semua pedagang2 dn penjaja dengan pelbagai barangan. Kena urung sepanjang bejalan ke International Tourist Entrance tu macam langau dorang ni. Lepas tu kebetulan kami pigi hujan la pulak. Jadi aku hanya naik ke Borobudur di tempat paling bawah tu dan round sekali dgn geng biasa ku (Cik Pah dan Agee). C Agee plak basah kuyup gara2 payung nya rusak dan dia telah berjaya me-refund duitnya Rp5000. Betul2 pengalaman yang tidak dapat dilupakan la kiranya. Tapi best...

Si Daddy suda naik dulu jadi dia cuma rehat di International Entrance tu. Di situ ada tempat rest tanpa gangguan penjaja. Tempat dia air-cond dn bertutup. Penjaja dan pengamen (beggars) tidak dibenarkan masuk. Selamat la. Gambar atas ni ialah gambar2 Good and Bad Karma menurut kepercayaan Hindu. Tapi mana2 agama pun ada kan..

Ini gambar sebelum naik ke Borobudur tu. Nampak tangga dia tu...dalam 100 lebih anak tangga juga mau naik setelah di congak2. Dan itu ja la kemampuan ku untuk naik tu tangga. tu pun kapus2 suda. ketara la suda gemuk dan "lanjut usia". Gambar di corner paling kiri yang aku pigang payung tu la kira "base" borobudur paling bawah. Susunan batu2 dia mimang amazing la. Lepas tu aku round satu kali di atas tu dan turun. Kalau nda hujan lebat mau juga ikut dgn tour guide tu (alasan.....hehehe) tapi mmg la nda selesa time tu dgn peluh yang menitik campur dibasahi hujan yang tiba2 turun lebat. Nda juga la menyesal nda abis round tu candi walaupun teringin mau tingu....Lepas tu di-urung "langau" lagi masa turun bawah. Kami sempat menyelamatkan daddy masuk van kami ms otw balik ke bas pariwisata tu.

Lepas ja kami tour di Borobudur, singgah di tempat Silver atas permintaan delegates lain dan terus p dinner di Resto apa aku nda ingat...Nnt Agee tolong terangkan kalau dia baca ni post hehehe.

D.I.Y. - Part I

FYI, D.I.Y stands for Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta Special Region). It is called istimewa (special) since it is the only District (sort of) in Indonesia governed by Sultan (Kraton).

I've been there for an official visit with other 23 UMS delegates, from 19 to 24th March 2009.

Gambar Day 1 - the day we arrive in Jogja

Far above - Malioboro Inn Hotel room. 24 hrs hot spot u. Kalah lagi KL punya hotel yg sentiasa mau bayar; Agee & Pah menikmati santapan malam di Resto Masakan Padang (forgot already apa nama dia). Gambar makanan tu di ambil setelah abis di asak...lapar kan sampai lupa mau amik gambar; dan Gambar2 sekitar Sekolah Pascasarjana UGM...cantik dan damai kan.

Day 2 - Urusan "Kantor" & pre-tour @ Jogja
Lepas Meeting di Pasca UGM terus jalan2 cari makan. Lapar. So, kami ke Mall Amplaz ka nama dia...pun kurang ingat suda pasal nda menyempat2 mau update since blik dari Jogja hari tu. Gambar2 ni mungkin ada yang ter-upload jua suda dalam blog c Agee...psal kami share photo :) yang baju hitam (itam manis) tu la tour guide kami. Mbak Janu nama dia. Dan gambar sambal dalam lesung tu purposely aku amik utk c ipah yang suka "banget" makan sambal. Hari ni masa habis dengan urusan persediaan utk sambut kedtgn UMS delegates. Sampai la ke malam. Buli tahan juga penat dia.

Day 3 - mengalu2kan kedatangan all UMS delegates

Diketuai oleh "daddy" - Prof. Dr. Mohd. Shuaib Che Din (Dekan SPKS) tengah menikmati santapan malam. Alhamdulillah semua orang dan barang selamat sampai. Pun lupa suda nama tempat. Nanti aku tanya balik sama Agee or Mbak Janu atau Mas Aris.

Yogyakarta (which is often spelled and called in different ways such as Jogjakarta, Yogya or Jogja in short) is Indonesia in miniature. When visitors come to inhale the air of Yogyakarta, they feel like they have lived Yogyakata has been best described as a "Never Ending Asia", "Java's Cultural Heart", the "Soul City of Java", or "planted in the fertile of Heartland of Central Java". (it is) the crdle of great Javanese empires...the capital of ancient kingdoms, medieval empires andand modern revolution and an engaging elange of style and moods.

Whatever Yogyakarta is, or aims to be, this fascinating city with its surrounding jungles, rice fields and mountains lies in the heart of Indonesia's most important ancient empires. In Yogyakarta itself you can visit the impressive Sultan's Palace (the Kraton) under the watchful, but friendly eyes, of a hundred palace guards in their traditional and distinctive uniforms []. You can tour its bustling markets and avenues and purchase arts and crafts created by Java's finest craftsmen and painters. Once you've seen enough of modern Java, you can then head for the countryside and marvel at some of ancient Asia's grandest wonder - the great 8th to 10th century Hindu and Buddhist temples of Prambanan, Borobudur and their subsidiary candis (temple) and shrines that dot the Javanese countryside. Yogyakarta is a place where nothing is learned until it is experienced.
The History of Yogyakarta
People have lived in Central Java and the Yogyakarta area since time immemorial as over the centuries they have been attracted by the rich soil caused by the numerous volcanic eruptions. Earliest recorded history dares from the 9th century and was dominated by Hindu and Buddhist kingdoms that gave rise to the magnificent temples such as Prambanan, Ratu Boko, Kalasan, Sambisari and Borobudur found in this area.
Yogyakarta itself dates back to the 18th century. In the early 18th century, the Muslim Mataram Kingdom of the time was ruled by Pakubuwono II. After he passed away, there was a conflict between his son and his brother which was encouraged by the Dutch who were trying to colonize the region on a 'divide and rule' basis.
The Kingdom was divided into two regions namely Surakarta Hadiningrat kingdom under the rule of Sunan Pakubuwono III, and Nyayogyakarta Hadiningrat kingdom under the rule of Sultan Hamengku Buwono I. He was the founder of the present line of Sultans who still live in the Kraton and play important role in Javanese culture. The second kingdom was later called Yogyakarta, now better known as Yogyakarta.
After the independence of the Republic of Indonesia was proclaimed, Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX and Sri Paku Alam VIII launched a statement that the Kasultanan and Kadipaten (the two royal regions), belonged to the Republic of Indonesia as a part of the whole area of the Indonesia Republic. Since then, it has been known as Yogyakarta Special Region and was given provincial status in 1950 in recognition of its important role in the fight for independence.
